Gerard* is 35 en alleenstaand. Gerard heeft een heao-opleiding gedaan maar moest halverwege het laatste jaar stoppen met de opleiding. Hij had forse psychische problemen en is hier gedurende langere tijd voor behandeld, zowel met opname in een GGZ-instelling als met therapie. Hij wil niet in laag betaalde banen werken omdat hij van mening is dat alleen die werkervaring op zijn CV ervoor zal zorgen dat hij nooit meer op zijn eigen niveau aan de bak zal kunnen komen. Hij heeft hulp nodig om met een werkgever in gesprek te raken en een kans te krijgen nieuwe werkervaring op te bouwen.
